Sledding Game Unlockables Guide: Skins, Hats, Sleds & Props

Sledding Game unlockables are mostly tied to four behaviors: activating statues, doing something once, repeating a requirement, or simply finding and interacting with an object on the map. A few of them are easy; others depend on awkward locations, multi-person coordination, or the yeti zone.

The unlocks below cover the non-store items listed in the source material. Some may change over time, and a few are easier with friends. If an item seems missing a screenshot or feels incomplete, treat the location as a strong hint rather than a guaranteed one-to-one route.

What counts as unlockables in Sledding Game

This page focuses on items you cannot just buy in the store. That means:

  • Statue unlocks that require hitting targets with snowballs
  • One-time unlocks tied to a specific action
  • Repeated-action unlocks that need a grind
  • Find-and-interact unlocks hidden around the map
  • A small secret/Discord role password clue that is intentionally not fully spelled out

Unlockables from statues

Around the map are statues of different animals, sometimes wearing cosmetics. The kind discussed here has three depressions on the front.

To activate one:

  1. Find the three target spots near the statue.
  2. Hit each target with a snowball.
  3. Each hit lights up one of the statue’s front lights for about 15 seconds.
  4. Hit all three within the time limit to activate the statue.
  5. Claim the reward from the statue.

These are much easier with help, especially the statues with targets spread across the map. The frog statue in the lodge is the hardest of the bunch because its targets are in three different corners of the map.

The bench statue in the south is not a target statue and does not require activation.

Skins unlocked by statue activation

Black Bear Skin

Ride the top ridge ski lift and, about halfway along, look down for the bear statue on a hill below. Drop down, but set a flag first because the fall can sometimes glitch you back to the lodge.

  • One target is right by the statue.
  • The other two are downhill to the north and uphill to the south/southwest.

Light Seal Skin

From the tallest peak, sled down the eastern slope. You’ll see the seal statue up on a tall plinth, looking like the Statue of Liberty.

  • Make sure you can reach it quickly; a trampoline helps.
  • Set a flag before starting the targets.
  • One target is right behind the statue.
  • The other two are up south on a rock wall and down the tall hill to the north.

Panda Bear Skin

Take the upper central ski lift near the toad statue. Near the end, the bear statue is to your right on top of a stone arch.

  • As you drop down, note the target just below the ski lift path.
  • Another target is underneath the arch.
  • A third is uphill to the south/southeast of the statue.

This one is much easier with friends because of the two awkwardly placed targets.

Dark Toad Skin

At the top of the lower central ski lift from the lodge, look left for the cannon with the “cannon of peril” sign. Beyond it, on the next hilltop west, is the toad statue.

  • One target is far down the hill west of the statue, toward the next ski lift.
  • Another is downhill to the north, attached to the side of the stone arch.
  • Another is back toward the ski lift you came from.

Normal Fox Skin

Ride the eastern ski lift that goes from near the ice lake up to the skate park. At the top, look uphill for the back of a target, then keep going that direction into the trees.

  • The fox statue is in a grove of trees.
  • One target is beside the statue.
  • A third is north in the trees.

Polar Bear Skin

From the top of the southwestern ski lift behind the lodge, you may be able to see a rectangular statue down to the northwest.

This statue shows a bear and a frog in a pose similar to The Creation of Adam.

  • One target is uphill near the end of the ski lift you came from.
  • Another is downhill to the northeast.
  • The last is far to the northwest on another hill over a gulley.

You can still hit the far target from near the statue if you aim about a tree height above it.

Crown Hat

This statue is not close to a ski lift, so it takes a little travel.

You can reach it either by:

  • taking the eastern ski lift and crossing through the alpine village, or
  • going high on the map and sledding down the central slopes

The penguin statue wearing a crown is on the western edge of the village, overlooking a gulley slope.

  • One target is down the slope to the southwest.
  • One is on a village house to the east.
  • One is on a hill to the northwest.

Dorky Glasses

From the fox statue, look southwest for a stone arch in the distance, then sled down to it.

Beneath that arch is a frog statue sitting like The Thinking Man.

  • One target is beside the statue.
  • Another is downhill to the west/northwest.
  • The third is at the bottom of the stone cliff below the arch to the southwest.

This is easiest if you set a flag at the statue and drop down to hit the bottom target first.

Tiny Frog Hat

The statue is in the lodge, but the targets are in different corners of the map, so this one is best done with several people.

A practical setup:

  1. Leave one person at the lodge to track when all lights are lit and call people back.
  2. Send one person south.
    • Ride the southern ski lift behind the lodge.
    • At the top, climb the small hill.
    • Look down at the top wheel of the ski lift for the target.
  3. Send one person northwest.
    • Ride the left ski lift from the lodge to the high west peak.
    • Sled down the northwest ridge about a third of the way.
    • Look down over the ridge toward the yeti zone and find the line of rocks below.
    • Sled down to the left side of the rocks; the second target is on the other side of the last west-most rock.
  4. Send everyone else northeast.
    • Ride multiple ski lifts to the highest peak at the top of the map.
    • Sled down the east ridge about two thirds of the way.
    • Look down over the ridge for a group of similar-looking hills.
    • The target is on the north side of the correct hill, facing away from your approach.
    • Set your flag as far out toward the yeti zone as possible.

The northeast target is in the yeti zone, so wait for a safe moment to run in and hit it. If the yeti spawns, snowballs become much harder to land.

This one may take several attempts to coordinate cleanly.

Unlockables from doing something once

Gold Frog

Buy the Supporter version of the game. If the base game is already owned, buy the Supporter Pack upgrade instead.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4527730/Sledding_Game__Supporter_Pack/

Gold Tie

Open chat, type /secret, and send it.

Name Tag

Open the in-game settings, turn off nameplates in the gameplay section, then exit settings. You can turn them back on afterward.

Cape

Stay airborne for a significant amount of time. The source notes two common interpretations:

  • airborne for over 10 seconds, or
  • airborne for over 6000 points

The easiest method is to build a big ramp with lots of boosters over the back of the lodge.

Green Visor Hat

Pay to play the basketball game in the lodge, but do not play it. Exit while the game is running, then get someone else to activate your running game.

Unlockables from repeating an action

Poison Frog Skin

As the normal frog, hit other players with snowballs 100 times.

The easiest method is to have one player AFK emote inside the lodge fence while you stand outside it. That keeps them from flying away every time you hit them, letting you stay in one spot and repeatedly throw snowballs.

Tree Frog Skin

As the normal frog, jump on a trampoline 100 times.

The easiest method is to put a trampoline inside a tent or igloo so you hit the roof and bounce back down immediately. Then leave the character there for a few minutes until it unlocks.

Light Toad Skin

As the dark toad, get on and off a ski lift 30 times.

This counts even if you jump off immediately at the bottom of the lift and repeat.

Arctic Fox Skin

As the normal fox, land upside down with your sled 50 times.

A simple setup is to find a small hill or build a small ramp, set a flag, mount the sled while holding back, flip upside down, dismount, then teleport back and repeat.

Duotone Seal Skin

As the dark seal, win 20 races.

Each race must include at least one other person, so solo races do not count.

Hot Cocoa Hat

Drink 100 cups of hot cocoa.

You can track progress in the stats menu by checking liquids consumed and dividing by 10. The source notes that this uses cups worth of liquid, so the infinite cocoa cup glitch, if available to you, can be used to keep drinking from the same source for a long time.

Red Round Glasses

Emote 100 times.

The fastest way is to open the emote menu and alternate between two side-by-side emotes repeatedly.

Dog Tags

Get hit by other players 100 times.

This counts both snowball hits and being bowled over by someone on a sled. Snowball hits are the easiest route, especially if other players are already farming Poison Frog Skin at the same time.

Croc Sled

Walk around a lot.

That is genuinely the full instruction here: do not overthink it and let the unlock happen naturally.

Plane Sled

While wearing the cape, get kicked really high by the yeti 10 times.

Ski Lift Sled

Ride the golden chair of a ski lift for 3 full return trips.

The short lift behind the lodge is the easiest place to do this. Just sit on it and let it loop for a few minutes.

Unlockables found by walking up and interacting

A lot of Sledding Game’s hidden items unlock just by approaching a specific object and pressing interact. These are usually the fastest unlockables once you know where to look.

Sledding Game Unlocked by Finding Something screenshot 1

Dark Seal Skin

A fishing hole is high up on the central mountain where the red race starts.

  • North of the red arch are two holes.
  • Choose the one closest to the rock wall.
  • Hop inside and press interact.

Bench Sled

A bench statue is south/southwest of the lodge on a hill with multiple yellow tents.

Approach it and press interact.

Sledding Game Unlocked by Finding Something screenshot 2

UFO Sled

A UFO has crashed into a hillside north of the map, behind the tallest northern peak, in the yeti zone.

Approach it quickly while avoiding the yeti, then press interact.

Sledding Game Unlocked by Finding Something screenshot 3

Flowerpot Hat

A small flowerpot sits on the floor behind the left side of the cosmetics stand in the lodge.

  • Squish between the chest and the stand.
  • You should just be able to see it.
  • Press interact.

Arrow Hat

An apple with an arrow through it sits on top of a target in the shooting range beside the lodge.

Approach it from behind the target and jump to interact.

Cockroach Hat

A cockroach is high on a ledge inside the left side of a stone arch up the slope north/northeast of the ice pond.

You’ll need to build a tower of props, such as greenscreens, to reach it. Climb up and press interact.

Miner Hat

A small hat sits on a stone inside a cave at the base of the central mountain, below the large target.

From the top of the central ski lift, walk to the base of the mountain and around to the left until you see the cave. A trampoline or greenscreen is needed to reach the hat. Jump up and press interact.

Tent Prop

A tiny tent sits inside a normal yellow tent on a cliffside on the southern face of the central mountain with the large target on it.

Climb to the top of that peak, then drop down the side carefully until you land beside the tent. Go inside and press interact.

Discord role password clue

This one is deliberately hidden, so the full password is not spelled out here.

The useful clues are:

  • the answer is a QR code posted somewhere in the game like a sticker
  • it is small, but tucked away where you need to be close to see it anyway
  • it is inside the lodge
  • it is easiest to see while sitting in a particular place

If the clue still does not click, the source strongly suggests asking around in-game for help from someone who already knows it.
