Scritchy Scratchy Max Luck Level per Ticket (Hard Caps)
In Scritchy Scratchy, Luck only helps up to a point. Every ticket has a hard cap, and once your Luck reaches that ticket’s max level, pushing Luck higher won’t improve the symbol odds for that ticket anymore. If you want to avoid wasting upgrades, the fastest way is to match your Luck level to the ticket you’re actually scratching.
How ticket Luck caps work
Luck affects the odds of better symbols appearing, but the effect does not scale forever. Each ticket stops benefiting after a specific Luck level.
That means:
- Below the cap: higher Luck changes the symbol pool in your favor
- At the cap: you’re getting the full benefit for that ticket
- Above the cap: extra Luck does nothing for that ticket’s odds
So if you’re focusing on one ticket type, the goal is not “max Luck at all costs.” The goal is to stop at the best Luck level for that ticket and spend the rest elsewhere.

Best Luck level for each ticket
If the question is simply “how much Luck should be on before I use this ticket?”, use the ticket’s hard cap:
- Two Win: stop at Luck 3
- Mini Scratch: stop at Luck 4
- Apple Tree: stop at Luck 6
- Quick Cash: stop at Luck 7
- Lucky Cat: stop at Luck 9
- Sand Dollars: stop at Luck 12
- Scratch My Back: stop at Luck 14
- Snake Eyes: stop at Luck 16
- The Bomb: stop at Luck 19
- Bank Break: stop at Luck 22
- Xmas Countdown: stop at Luck 25
- Thrift Store: stop at Luck 27
- Berry Picking: stop at Luck 29
- Trick or Treat: stop at Luck 34
- Slot Machine: stop at Luck 37
- To The Moon: stop at Luck 40
- Booster Pack: stop at Luck 44
Practical way to use the cap list
The easiest way to avoid over-investing Luck is to think in ticket tiers:
- If you mainly scratch early tickets, you do not need to chase very high Luck.
- If you move into later tickets, make sure your Luck is high enough to reach that ticket’s cap before spending more.
- If your Luck is already above a ticket’s cap, that ticket is already fully optimized.
A simple rule works well: match your Luck to the highest ticket you plan to use often, then stop.
Why the symbol chances matter
The symbol chance breakdown tells you what kind of spread a ticket has after Luck is applied. Some tickets still keep a very common top symbol, while others become much more balanced. That’s why the cap matters so much: once you hit it, you’re no longer improving the table for that ticket.
If you’re comparing two tickets, the one with the lower cap is usually easier to fully optimize earlier. Later tickets simply require more Luck before they stop scaling.
Quick check for wasted Luck
If a ticket’s listed max Luck is lower than your current Luck level, the extra Luck is not helping that ticket.
A fast check looks like this:
- Find the ticket.
- Read its Max Luck value.
- Compare it to your current Luck level.
- If your Luck is higher, anything above the cap is wasted on that ticket.
That’s the entire optimization problem in Scritchy Scratchy: stop leveling Luck once the ticket you want is capped.
